A Bainbridge Island Park is lost

It is sad to see this once special little park that was mostly unknown be rendered unusable by the City Council of Bainbridge Island. The meadow is now gone. The access to the water is gone. The chance for a summer picnic is gone. It is noteworthy that all this was under the guise of environmental restoration, however rather than remove a paved parking area, it was just covered with dirt. A serious drainage and contamination problem in the making. Fortunately there are many wonderful things to do and see on Bainbridge Island that are not associated with local politics.
